A Fizzics pour delivers dense Micro-Foam dividing the bubbles into smaller microbubbles thus enhancing aroma and creating a smooth and creamy mouthfeel.Not only is the Fizzics Micro-foam visually appealing, it also delays degradation of the beer due to contact with oxygen, which preserves the flavor. Simply place your favorite can, bottle or growler inside the canister and insert the hose directly into your beer. Close and seal the canister. Tap the handle forward to pour while holding your glass on a 45-degree angle. Fizzics technology pours your beer under pressure at a controlled rate while maintaining the carbonation in the body of the beer. When you are ready to top your beer with head, hold your glass straight up and then push the handle backwards to top. Cleaning is simple and easy to do. Set a glass of water into the canister. How did you come up with the idea for this product?

Our pursuit for great tasting beer ironically began over a draft beer at our favorite brewpub. While enjoying a fresh pour right from the brewers tap, we asked ourselves:”Why does beer taste so good fresh from the brewers tap, but doesn’t taste nearly as good from a can, bottle or growler?” And so it began. Our first year of exploration was a relentless pursuit of understanding, research and development, with more failures than one can count. Our passion and determination grew stronger and, eventually, we perfected the Fizzics Technology Platform.

What makes your product special?

It’s unique and never been done. We’ve created a new category in the beer industry. For over 5,000 years, brewmasters have put a tremendous amount of passion, effort and art into producing their beers. Largely, beers are consumed out of cans and bottles and, unfortunately, for us beer lovers, it just doesn’t taste as good as it does fresh from the tap. This age old reality is what drove the creation of Fizzics, a personal beer dispenser that improves the flavor and taste of canned or bottled beer to Brewery Fresh Draft. Fizzics brings the simple pleasure of serving and enjoying expert draft quality beer, in a lightweight and portable system.

What has been the best part of your startup experience?

The beer loving community has really welcomed us in with open arms and supported us since day one. We are forever grateful for the support that we have received from our contributors through our Indiegogo crowdsourcing campaign from over 67 countries! The response exceeded our expectations. We not only found an audience for our product, but we also found a community of people who were really passionate about beer in the same way we are. Since then, we’ve built a small team and have been all over the country meeting with backers, customers, and brewers– hearing from them just how much they love the product and how they use it in their lives.

Known as “The Heineken Perfect Pour,” the technique delivers a perfect glass of Heineken–one that has a soft, freshly skimmed white head of two fingers’ width, at a temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
